Coll Electrical was responsible for the lighting and electrical work for the Silo Tank Park Lighting Project, which involved updating existing industrial elements to create a modern open space. The project spanned two years and comprised of two stages: Stage 1 during the AC36 project and Stage 2 involving the creation of interactive play items called the Playline.

The Playline was built using pipes and fittings salvaged from the Bulk Storage Terminal (BST) tanks of the old working Wynyard Wharf. Coll Electrical played a crucial role in transforming these elements into interactive play equipment with integrated lights, sound, and water features.

The project was highly acclaimed, winning a Gold award in the Public & Institutional Spaces category at the DINZ Best Awards, as well as a Monocle Design Award in 2022. It was also a finalist in several other prestigious awards programs, including the 2020 WAN, 2021 Landezine, and 2021 WAF awards.
